General Rental Info

Absurd (the venue) is available for rent for shows, theatrical performances, rehearsals, group meetings, photoshoots, and private events.

Rates

Shows:

  • Saturday/Friday Night: $300

  • Weeknight: $200

​

We provide a sound tech, door person, and bartender for show rentals.

​

Daytime rehearsal/meeting:

  • Hourly: $40

  • Four or more hours: $150

​

Recurring weekly/monthly rentals:

  • Send us a message :)​​​

​

What we need:

  • Full payment up-front to reserve your date

  • Input list one week before your event

Venue Specs

  • Space: ~1000 SQF

  • Sound setup: Four blown-out KRK's taped to the wall; mono only.

  • Bar: Custom-built and liquor-spilt​

  • Equipment: No house drum kit; we do have DJ decks.

 
Happy Hour:

We like to run a happy hour special between doors and performance start time to get your audience there on time and in a good mood.​

 

Availability:
Check our events calendar for availability, and when you message us let us know a couple dates or range of dates that work for you so we can block off a day for you ASAP.
