General Rental Info

Absurd (the venue) is available for rent for shows, theatrical performances, rehearsals, group meetings, photoshoots, and private events. We have capacity for 50 attendees.

Due to the nature of our liquor license, no minors are allowed on the premises at any time.

Rates

Shows:

Saturday/Friday Night: $250
Weeknight: $150
Rates are subject to change for longer/shorter shows or shows that have different technical/personnel requirements.

We provide a sound tech, door person, and bartender for show rentals.

Daytime rehearsal/meeting:

Hourly: $30
Five or more hours: $150

Sound setup: We have three PAs, a sub, four SM58s, three SM57s, a kick mic, a 14-channel mixer, and the ability to get what you need for your show to work.
Bar: Custom-built and liquor-spilt. We only stock local beer (and Pilsner).
Equipment: No house drum kit.
Capacity: 50 people.

What We Provide:

In addition to our sound gear, we provide a qualified sound tech to do sound for your event, as well as a door person to check tickets and IDs at the door. This is all included in the rental fee.
